Crew of Lancaster Bomber PB 304 remembered.

Our annual event to remember the 7-man crew of Lancaster bomber PB304, which crashed and exploded in July 1944, and two nearby civilians who died of injuries following the explosion, was held again this year. We were pleased to have Joe Bamford (Author of the book "The Salford Lancaster") as our main speaker.  The service was lead by Reverend Daniel Burton, a wreath was laid by Salford Ceremonial Mayor Ann-Marie Humphrys and a bugler played the "Last Post". We were also delighted to see Salford Mayor Paul Dennett, a number of Councillors and representatives of the armed forces in attendence.
