So far the events for 2023 are:
Tuesday 6th June 2023 at 1.00 pm for about an hour, Peel Green Cemetery WALKABOUT. (Part of National Cemeteries Week). A stroll to see improvements, suggest other improvements, point out gravestones of interest, and get to know each other. If the Crematorium is free we could have a look at what happens behind the scenes. Meet at the Crematorium for 1.00 pm. FREE EVENT. ALL WELCOME.
Sunday 30th July 2023 at 11 am to 11.30, LANCASTER BOMBER MEMORIAL SERVICE at Agecroft Cemetery. (To remember the seven man crew of Lancaster bomber PB 304 that crashed and exploded near Langley Road, Pendlebury on 30th July 1944). Followed by light refreshments. FREE EVENT. ALL WELCOME.

A stroll to see improvements, suggest other improvements, point out gravestones of interest, talk about interesting gravestones and get to know each other. FREE EVENT. ALL WELCOME.
Sunday 10th September 2023 at 2.00 pm to 3.30pm, Guided Tour of WEASTE CEMETERY, Cemetery Road, off Eccles New Road, Weaste. (This event is part of National Heritage Open Days). FREE EVENT. Please Book your place at pete.kilvert@virginmedia.com as limited to 25. No dogs please.
