Biography:	Service number 10684 Battalion 15th William was born in St.Helens and enlisted in Salford. He left a widow and nine children. Prior to the war he worked at Chadwick & Taylor's paper mills in Ordsall Lane. He was also a member of Salford Dock Mission.
